This collection is inspired by the 1989 cult classic Harlem Nights, starring Black comedic legends Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and Redd Foxx. The garments are reminiscent of Quick’s journey after being taken in by Sugar Ray, reflecting his growth within Harlem’s nightlife and social scene. The garments echo the glamour and grit of Harlem’s nightlife, blending sharp tailoring with theatrical opulence, capturing the duality of Harlem: refined yet dangerous, glamorous yet survival-driven, honoring a world where style was both armor and expression.
